Is this your lost cat?

Apparently this was posted recently around Sydney University campus by an international student.

LOL! That's like the kids playing with the black & white "kittens" that turn out to be skunks!

When Mom was in college, a swan blew into the campus lagoon, covered with mud or maybe tar. It didn't belong there, so she called the humane society. They insisted it was just a goose, but told her if she was so worried, to catch it and bring it in! Um, no. Later, the humane society called back to apologize. They had so many callers saying it was a swan, they finally sent someone to check, and it WAS a swan and it needed care so they took it in and would release it at the zoo.
My mom was a smarter college student than that one :-)
I'm still tryin to picture her using a pillow case to catch a full-grown swan and stuff it into her station wagon!

We trust that college student was not one of your students in an earlier life !!!
Cat? That's a cat? Maybe it's a downunder cat, upsidedown from ours. Or maybe it came from Wonderland... things are odd there.

Some of the cats in China look similar... they have pointy faces and bigger ears. I was a little shocked when I first saw one and thought it looked like a possum. Maybe the student was from China.

It is funny though!

We're wondering if there are beans out there doing these as a gag.

The Curator at the Pet Museum saw something similar about a month ago.
